Prague, September 4, 2025: The Data Festival VŠE 2025 will take place on Tuesday, November 4, from 9 am to 6 pm at the Rajská budova of the University of Economics in Prague. The eighth edition of the largest data event in the Czech Republic this year comes with the theme Data Harvest and will offer a harvest of inspiration, insights and practical experience from the world of data.
Visitors can expect a varied programme consisting of dozens of lectures, workshops and discussions, which will follow three main themes: the Roots of Data, AI and Smart Harvest and Machines for Data Harvesting . Each of them will feature leading experts and data “farmers” from prestigious Czech and international companies.
“This year we have again decided to focus on what really bears fruit in the data world. From the basics, through smart solutions to new technologies that make everyday work with data more efficient. We firmly believe that everyone, regardless of their level of knowledge, will take away valuable fruits from our Data Harvest,” says Ota Novotný , the founder of the festival.
In addition to the professional program, the Festival will also offer networking opportunities and expanded possibilities for arranging meetings via the Eventee platform. Thanks to this, it will be possible to make new contacts and discuss topics that will not be covered in the public programme.
New and returning companies from various sectors are partnering with the Festival. “We are delighted that not only certified partners are joining the Festival, but also new names that bring a fresh perspective and new opportunities. We are in for a really rich harvest this year. In addition, the Data Festival website will serve as a platform to find job opportunities in the data field during the autumn months,” adds Festival Director Kamila Rychtaříková.
The leading partners of the eighth edition will include companies such as KPMG, ČSOB, ŠKODA AUTO, PwC, Sazka, Raiffeisen Bank and VISA. Dawiso, MSD Czech Republic, Česká spořitelna, EY, SaS, Billigence and Datavault Builder will also bring a wide range of insights and opportunities. The ranks of participating companies are still growing these days.
Last year’s edition brought more than 4,000 registrations, 34 companies participated and visitors met nearly 70 speakers. Organizers from the Data & Business platform of the University of Economics and the Faculty of Computer Science and Statistics of the University of Economics expect interest to be high this year as well.
Registration will open during October and participation in the Festival is traditionally free. More information and latest news can be followed on the website www.datafestivalvse.cz and on the Festival LinkedIn.
