Helsinki 19.11. 2025 – The world-renowned sold-out Slush 2025 conference is currently taking place in Helsinki, and the numbers are truly fascinating. 13,000 participants, 25,000+ meetings in two days, 1,700 volunteers, over 200 speakers, and 300 media partners from more than 70 countries around the world. This is the startup ecosystem in action, attended by representatives of the startup world from north to south. This is where stories are written.
Meetings at full speed
This is not a classic conference with boring presentations. Slush facilitates over 25,000 one-on-one meetings in two days. That’s more than 800 meetings per hour. Over 400 meeting tables in the center of the venue ensure that every relevant conversation has its place.
Side events everywhere you look
The main event is just the tip of the iceberg. During Slush week, over 600 side events take place throughout Helsinki. The main program on stage takes place on November 19–20. However, anyone who has come to Helsinki knows that they have also found Day 0 in the matchmaking platform and that a number of networking events begin two days before the official grand opening. Networking takes place 24/7 in various locations. Even in the sauna.
This year, for the second time, Czechia is also represented in the form of the Bohemian Pitch event. The CzechInvest agency, together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, is organizing a startup accompanying event where 25 startups and VC investors from Czechia will present themselves to more than a hundred participants from Slush.
